Local Wedding Venues

Weddings are among the most special days in our lives and there are a lot of plans to make, including what to wear and where to have your hair done, but we know that sometimes it's far easier to find a beautiful dress and a fantastic hair stylist (Call us, we'll fit you in!) than it is to find a wedding venue in Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, or even Brier.

Because of this, we've got a list of alternative local wedding venues you might want to consider. These are the places to schedule if you are having a small wedding, plan to get married this year, want a beachy or woodsy wedding, or just want a wedding in a quirky setting.

Beachy Wedding Venues
Edmonds Yacht Club

This popular wedding venue offers stunning views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. The clubhouse can accommodate large weddings up to 220 guests and has a full commercial kitchen as well as a representative on site to help with last minute details. Book early and be flexible with your schedule and you and your guests will enjoy a lovely view in addition to a lovely wedding.

        Picnic Point Park

This little park on the shores of Puget Sound is one of the most picturesque venues you could find for a beach wedding. It has beach access via a bridge over the train tracks and picnic tables as well as a picnic shelter. There's not a lot of parking, but small weddings, or ones where guests carpool will be fine.

Scriber Lake

This lakefront park in the heart of Lynnwood is a sunny spot for a beachfront wedding with easy access for all of your guests.

        Martha Lake Park

Martha Lake Park features a wetland boardwalk over the lake and picnic shelters that can be reserved for small to large informal weddings.

Snohomish County

Woodsy Wedding Venues
Pine Ridge Park

This forested park is tucked in the neighborhood down the street from Namaste Salon & Spa and has shady trails and natural beaches around a lovely pond.

    Wilcox Park

Wilcox Park is easy to get to and has a sweet gazebo and a picnic shelter that can be reserved for small weddings or parties.

Wedding Venues with Indoor/Outdoor Reception Space
Lakeview Rooms at Lake Ballinger

This wedding and reception hall is in a former golf clubhouse on the North end of Lake Ballinger. Offering both inside and outside space for your wedding and reception, it's perfect for weddings with fewer than 125 guests.

Mountlake Terrace

      Innis Arden Clubhouse

Tucked into a neighborhood off of Richmond Beach Road, this neighborhood clubhouse is a mid-century building with large windows overlooking a private park. The clubhouse comfortably accommodates up to 385 guests and has adequate parking. Reserve early because it is shared with neighborhood functions.

Quirky Wedding Venues
Edmonds to Kingston Ferry

While getting married on a ferry means you'll have a public ceremony, you can't beat the views. The Edmonds to Kingston run takes about 20 minutes, but with load and unload times factored in, if you walk on you'll have about 35 minutes for an informal ceremony and cake cutting. Great for a small wedding or one with a large group of easy-going friends.

        Heritage Park

This venue is best for small weddings with fewer than 50 guests. It features the only remaining electric trolly car that served on the Interurban Rail Line from 1919 to 1939 and a water tower rescued from destruction and awaiting restoration.

If you decide on an outdoor wedding, but want to make sure you and your guests have some shelter if it rains, consider renting a canopy from Millers Rent All in Edmonds or Aurora Rents in Shoreline.

We hope these links help you find the perfect place to hold your wedding in South Snohomish County.

While you're deciding on the perfect place, call us and we'll schedule a consultation on your wedding party's hair, makeup, and nails. If you're having an informal outdoors wedding we'll help you decide on hairstyles that will be a little more forgiving of wind or drizzle, but still match your dress, tuxes, and style. If you're having an indoor wedding we can suggest styles that will look beautiful throughout the ceremony, through the reception, and well into the evening.

We usually ask for a minimum of three weeks notice to schedule styling sessions for wedding parties of three or more, but in some cases can accommodate last minute requests.

Have fun planning your wedding!
